Lake Hemet

Stocked up for a good time.

Surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains, camping, glamping and lakefront cabins overlook the tranquil Lake Hemet, which offers boat rentals and a swim zone. It’s also seasonally stocked with Rainbow & Lightning Trout, and year-round Crappie, Blue Gill, Bass & Catfish.

Lake Elsinore

That’s some good watersportsmanship.

The 3,000-acre Lake Elsinore is popular for water sports like jet skiing, boating, kayaking, windsurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and fishing, with frequent fishing events held throughout the year.

Menifee Lakes

Tee off with a view.

Surrounded by two lakeview 18-hole golf courses and stretching across over 36 acres of waterways, the Menifee Lakes provide an idyllic backdrop for golfers, casual walkers, and hikers.

Diamond Valley Lake

“Home of Monster-Sized Fish”

With some of the best fishing this side of The Sierras, Diamond Valley lake offers a water oasis for hikers, bikers, and fishers. Rent an e-bike at the marina or trek on foot through 22.7 miles of trails around the lake.

Canyon Lake

Adventure is in bloom.

While Canyon Lake is privately owned and operated, the views and wildflower-laden trails are open to all. Visit March through May to witness these hills blanketed in blooms.

Lake Skinner

Natural vistas and invigorating recreational opportunities include camping, picnicking, splash pad, hiking, horseback riding, sailing, fishing and non-body contact boating. Day visitors can enjoy picnic benches, shade shelters, and public barbecues.

Vail Lake

Turn up the ‘vailocity’.

Surrounded by a KOA Campground, Vail Lake is known for more than their Bass fishing. Tear it up at “Vailocity” Bike Park, a world-class bike park with 25-miles of trails, obstacles, flow track, and races for mountain biking, gravel biking, and BMX.

Lake Perris Reservoir

Lake Perris is home to a variety of birds and wildlife such as roadrunners, quail, jack rabbits, bobcats and mule deer. Enjoy camping, day use, hiking, biking, scuba diving, water sports, nature walks, museum, horseback riding, and fishing, and wildflowers during the rainy season.

Heritage Lake

A secluded sanctuary.

Wind your way around Heritage Lake on the waterfront 1.3 mile walking trail surrounding the entire 25-acre lake. Along the trail and throughout the lakeside park, you’ll find a range of outdoor exercise equipment, sports equipment, and children’s play areas.

Mystic Lake

A seasonal wildlife watering hole.

Mystic Lake attracts one of the most diverse populations of birds in the United States, with over 200 species identified. Adjacent to a 9,000-acre San Jacinto Wildlife Area, it’s a popular destination for birdwatchers and seasonal hunters.
